Sketching
Sketching is a great to learn how to loosen up and let go, especially when people are faced with change, new direction or asked to accept new priorities. Sketching is also a tool for visual thinking and brainstorming.Sketching assists professionals in learning Control and the Perception and Realities about Workplace Power
The Operative word will be "Perceptions" leading into what you perceive as a visual of what "Control" looks like. Plus learning to sketch becomes a metaphor for understanding the principals of control and letting go of what you can’t control. The Process is applied using the techniques of "drawing on the right side of the brain" using pencil and charcoal to articulate your vision of control. Continuing gesture sketching can help you learn better how to let go of control and only "control the controllable" in the workplace.
After these sessions many participants find that painting is a great stress reducer and thought starter. As a result many began regular expressive painting at home on a regular basis.
